FABRIC POSTERS

We are very happy to finally share this new edition with you, translating our painting into textile. It’s something we’ve never done in this way before, and we’re excited about the results.

FABRIC POSTERS BY BFC

  • 3 HANDMADE APPLIQUÉ POSTERS
  • EDITION OF 20
  • 42 X 59.4 CM
  • SIGNED & NUMBERED
  • 100% COTTON FABRIC

This new series of three textile ‘posters’ by BFC is crafted entirely by hand using traditional appliqué techniques. While the crew has worked in this technique in the past, this is the first time they have produced works as an edition. Each piece is a tactile colourful collage of layered fabrics, hand cut, stitched, and composed. The works are the result of an experimental process of exchange between Deso, Tant and Unga, each image evolving in symbiosis with the next, oscillating between figuration and abstraction.

Each work is limited to an edition of 20, signed and numbered.  It is ready to hang on the wall and does not require framing.

SPECIAL GIVEAWAY!

To celebrate this special drop, we’ve decided to give away the 3 original sketches (acrylic on paper). We will randomly put them in 3 of the boxes, and three lucky bastards will get an original work alongside the fabric work!

REFUSE

Pho 101 LONDON

Pho Viet 101 in N16 is our favourite place to eat in the neighbourhood. We love the food but also the people that make it, it is a real family business. For years they didn’t have a sign so we made them one

‘THE END / HOPE’ INSTALLATION

We were invited by Jerusalem Design Week to present this work as part of their exhibition at Hansen House

We made the images into an installation postcards and encouraged each visitor to choose one and send it to a loved one, posting it in a mailbox installed at the exhibition. At the end of each day, you could see which postcards were more popular – and reflect on the daily shifts in the collective state of mind.

A new mural on the wall of an elementary school at Peki’in by Tant
Peki’in is a Druze-Arab village in Upper Galilee, and the painting is a tribute to its unique roots and culture.
