“More Than” art fest, Beijing

We had the luck to show some of our works in this amazing street art fare in Beijing, that seemed to gather most of China’s writers and street artists. It sucks that we couldnt be there in person. looks like a really cool event with great art and vibes..

HONG KONG

-This city is fucking crazy

no matter where you look there’s just so many people

We met Uncle on our last visit in China, we painted a wall together in Guangzhou. He lives and work in an old factory with his wife Rainbow – two of them really talented artists, and it was inspiring to see this cool couple.

their studio/apartment

we stayed at their studio. what can be better than sleeping next to a sheetload of paint?

check out their art here- www.afterworkshop.hk ,its in chinese, but you can see their great works, such as this one:

The guys in Color Addict gave us free tattoos and we made them some drawings for their studio in return

HELLO PASSENGER WELCOME TO TAKE MY TAXI

-I  think what makes China such a crazy place is the contrast between how fast it develops and the fact that there is still this sketchy gypsy vibe. When you’re there you understand why they say china’s gonna replace america in a few years, no matter where you look you see new huge projects being built. There is nothing Communist about it besides the fact that there is only one party. and on the other hand, since it’s all happening so fast, you still have this kind of freedom (as long as you don’t speak shit about the government..) that can only be found in undeveloped places.. you can buy weed at the reggae shop at the mall, they still don’t really know what graffiti is in most of the places, and everything is so fucking cheap you can pretty much do anything you want. it was probably the first time in our lives we could actually afford 3 meals a day. happy times. Chengdu-

-So finally we find some time to update the blog with some new shit we did in China. We started our trip with a crazy week in Chengdu, the city of beautiful girls and pollution, we painted 3 walls in 6 days, very intense, but also great fun. We’ll continue our gypsy tour and update more soon..
