This new series of three textile ‘posters’ by BFC is crafted entirely by hand using traditional appliqué techniques. While the crew has worked in this technique in the past, this is the first time they have produced works as an edition. Each piece is a tactile colourful collage of layered fabrics, hand cut, stitched, and composed. The works are the result of an experimental process of exchange between Deso, Tant and Unga, each image evolving in symbiosis with the next, oscillating between figuration and abstraction.
Each work is limited to an edition of 20, signed and numbered. It is ready to hang on the wall and does not require framing.
