Sorry for not updating too much lately, we really need to get better with all this interweb thing. Here is another wall from our china trip, this one is from Guangzhou, a city with a population of 7 million people, which is more than Israel basically. The whole place look like an apocalyptic city from the future, and was really different from any other place we´ve been to. We did this huge wall (50 meter long) together with the local KAPS crew, Uncle from HK and some other cool writers we met there. thanx guys, for showing us around and letting us taste the weirdest food ever, it was a great week!
The latest issue of Crane magazine is now available online, and we’re participating. Download it and enjoy, one of the freshest magazines I saw in a while, tones of amazing art.
Note that they wrote only my name, but most of the works they show there is collaborations I did with Tant.http://www.carnemag.com/
If you’re in Beijing between July 25th and September 12th u should defintely check out Fortes Sequeira’s new live painting exhibition – “Off The Wall”.. more details here
This dude is not human, fucking insane.
Here are some flicks from the walls we did at 798 – a really cool art district in Beijing, stuffed with graffiti, galleries and good people. something like how we wish Massada would become one day.. Thanx to ABS Crew and all the other local writers for the great bench!
Sorry for not posting for a long time, Tant got into a fight with a Panda bear, and we’re all still a little shocked. Plus the computers here are slow and gypsy. Here are some flicks from a wall we did at this weird abandoned chemical factory (soon to become a theater). We ended painting here for one day and came with some interesting results.. checkit
MIDI Festival is the biggest rock festival in China – a place where rock music is still kinda new (around 20 years..). We had one day do paint this wall, during which we had a sand storm and had to break the wall apart and continue workin indoor.. Fun times
OK, so it’s been a week since we got to Beijing, and it was most defiantly one of the best weeks of our lives. This city is just fun, crazy food, nice people, beautiful girls, and too much inspiration.. Our schedule here is super tight, we paint all day and then drink at night, so far we painted a huge wall for MIDI festival (biggest rock festival in China), hit a bench with local crew ABS (big up!), did a wall in the Israeli embassy, and of course the wall for Art Beijing, which took us 3 days and came out really cool. Here are some pictures from Art Beijing, we’ll post the rest of the works soon..
Tant and I (Unga) just finished one of the craziest projects we’ve ever done.. PickUp is a chairs company from Israel, they came to us and asked for 10 original drawings for their upcoming catalog, one for every category (Bar Stools, Plastic chairs, Office, etc..). The cool thing was that they where really open minded about the art, giving us a lot of creative freedom.. After 3 months of hard work, this is what we came up with-
